Accomodations

AMTA has negotiated a conference room rate of $179 Canadian per night for a block of hotel rooms during the conference. You can get this rate by reserving your hotel room via the special hotel reservation page: https://resweb.passkey.com/go/amta09

When making reservations, if the reservation page says rooms are unavailable for some nights, please go to the regular Château Laurier website http://www.fairmont.com/laurier/ to get availability and prices for additional nights. There are still plenty of rooms available at comparable rates.

When completing your reservation for additional nights, there is a comments section. Please use that section to help them link your two reservations. Here is suggested wording:

I already have a reservation for August XX-XX in the Association for Machine Translation in the Americas conference room block. Please keep me in the same room for my whole stay, if possible.

If you are not able to get any of the nights you want via the special conference reservation page, please make your whole reservation at the regular Château Laurier site, and use the comments section to the hotel know that you are affiliated with the Association for Machine Translation in the Americas conference at the Château.
