11:00-12:30 Panel Discussion: How are the new technology combinations helping users? Listen between the lines to understand what some of the current problems are and how people are addressing them.

Afternoon
Head for the Technology Showcase, which lasts all afternoon.
See all the translation tools and products that are available. The technology showcase is only open for this one afternoon, so keep moving around the exhibits!
2:00-5:00 TAUS Data Association roundtable This 3-hour session (separate admission fee) will help you get up to speed on data sharing for translation. If you have a senior translator or project manager along, they should attend the parallel thematic session on translator training and tools.
Make your way back to the Technology Showcase until it closes. Take advantage to network with technology providers and MT users.
Evening
7:00 Conference banquet and IAMT Award of Honor
The award speech will be a rare opportunity for insight on how successful careers in MT are made.

Full Day workshop
Beyond Translation Memories This workshop takes a rigorous approach to examining research and operational claims about translator tools and productivity. Some of the tools/combinations may not be commercially available, but outcomes could help tool developers focus their efforts on the advances that matter.
